Unfair Means / Disciplinary cases

Local Rules

The following acts shall be liable to disciplinary action and/or immediate cancellation of a student’s paper:

a.     Misbehavior with the Superintendent and/or Campus Staff. 

b.    Staging a walk-out from the examination hall.

c.     Refusing to follow instructions of the Superintendent.

d.    Creating disturbance of any kind in or around the examination hall.

e.     Resorting to a pen-down strike, or instigating others to do so.

f.     Restricting entry of other students into the examination hall.

g.    Providing cheating/helping material in any form to other students.

h.     Impersonation or helping others to impersonate.

Overseas Rules

The following acts shall be liable to disciplinary action and/or immediate cancellation of a student’s paper:

a.    Student’s camera view is not as prescribed

b.    Uses an ear phone or communication device of any type

c.     Student goes offline during paper due to any reason

d.    Student is involved in any type of cheating

e.     Student appears from within Pakistan using the overseas examination environment

Plagiarism Policy For Answer Scripts

In case copying from external sources is detected during evaluation/marking:

a.     An Unfair Means Case shall be registered against the student

b.    The entire paper shall be graded as ZERO (0).

Right to Appeal and Review

A student may appeal against the verdict issued by the COUM on payment of prescribed fee.

a. If the initial verdict is reversed, the fee will be refunded.

b. In case the student is not satisfied from the decision of the appeal he/she may lodge a review petition on payment of the prescribed fee.

c. The decision of the University shall be final.
