Course Selection

MBA (Equivalent to MS)

w.e.f. Fall 2024

 

Rules:
Students enrolled in the first semester of their study Program are given pre-selected courses; all other students may select their own courses subject to their scheme of studies and the limitations prescribed in the rules below.

 

1. The credit hour limits are as below:

 

A. For Non-Business Background Students:

 

                        i.         Students are advised to enrol the courses as mentioned in each semester of study scheme to complete their degree program within time.

                      ii.         For the courses mentioned in the first and second semesters a maximum of 15 credit hours are allowed.

                     iii.         For the courses mentioned in third semester and onwards, and any extra subsequent semesters a maximum of 12 credit hours are allowed.

                     iv.         To select an area of specialization, students must have earned 39 credit hours of coursework.

 

B. For Business Background Students:

 

                i.            Students are advised to enrol the courses as mentioned in each semester of study scheme to complete their degree program within time

               ii.            The courses mentioned in the first and second semesters of study scheme are exempted upon getting successful admission.

             iii.             For the courses mentioned in third semester and onwards, and any extra subsequent semesters a maximum of 12 credit hours are allowed.

             iv.            To select an area of specialization, students must have earned 39 credit hours (including exempted 30 credit hours) of coursework.

 

2. Students taking less than the course load prescribed by their scheme of studies will require additional semesters to complete the curriculum; in such cases they will also have to bear the extra cost.

 

3. Students shall select one area of specialization comprising four courses when specialization is offered as per their scheme of studies.

 

4. Probation rules are applicable as per university policy

 

Procedure:

 

In order to select your courses, follow the steps below:

 

1. Click on the Course Selection link

2. Give preference to "F" grade course(s) and the course(s) where improvement of grades is possible

3. Click the check boxes to select courses

4. Save the selection

5. You may make changes in course selection any number of times before the last date to add, drop or replace course(s).

 

(Note: You may want to consult your scheme of studies click on the my study scheme in your LMS account, in case of any confusion).

 

RECOMMENDATION: Full Time Regular Students Are Urged To Follow Their Prescribed Scheme Of Studies.
