General Regulations

 

    1.     Potential graduates may avail option of course(s)/CGPA improvement as per prescribed course selection rules.

    2.     Potential graduates shall be marked pass-out after the announcement of semester result subject to successful completion of prescribed degree requirements along with following conditions:

    1. No Result Lock (RL)/ Unfair Means Case.

    2. Not applied for paper(s) rechecking.

    3. Did not opt for improvement of course(s)/CGPA.

    4. Entry test is qualified (for MS/M.Phil. students only)

    3.     Transcript of Record shall be issued to a successful student subject to completion of requirements as prescribed below:

    1. Clearance of outstanding dues.

    2. Students’ credentials (Name, Father Name, CNIC, Date of Birth, Gender, Photo & Previous Academic History etc.) are verified

    3. For MS/M.Phil. students, four (4) hard copies of thesis in prescribed format must be submitted

    4. For MS/M.Phil. Students, migration certificate from previous academic institute must be submitted to concern office of Registrar

    4.     The Controller of Examinations may cancel/recall any issued document i.e., Transcript/Degree/Diploma in case a mistake is found in the student’s record or later found guilty in any of the scenarios as prescribed below:

    1. Forgery of records/documents.

    2. Bogus academic or citizen testimonials.

    3. Disciplinary case.

    4. Unfair Means / Violation of Examinations Regulations Case.

    5.     Students may authorize someone to collect the documents on their behalf as prescribed below:

    1. Student will email from VU email account wherein he/she will mention the Name and CNIC number of the nominee .

    2. Nominee will have to bring original and copy of the CNIC for collection of documents(s) .

    3. In case of change in nominee, student will be required to redo the (a).

    6.     A prescribed fine shall be imposed in case student fails to collect the Transcript of Record / Degree/ Diploma for considerable amount of time..

 

Recalling of Non-Collected Terminal Documents

 

1.     A Student shall collect his/her Terminal documents within prescribed period i.e., Thirty (30) days from the date of dispatch. After that, a prescribed fine shall be imposed.

2.     After the prescribed period, Terminal documents shall be recalled from the respective campus(es) to Examinations Department

3.     A Student shall submit the request again for re-dispatch after submission of prescribed fine.
