Examinations within Pakistan

Examination Rules:
  1. Exam Entrance Slip and original Photo ID* is compulsory to enter the Examination Hall.
  2. Only those students shall be allowed to enter the Examination Hall whose paper is scheduled for that specific session.
  3. A student shall be searched physically for any exam aide material before entry in the Examination Hall.
  4. A student shall strictly follow the seating plan/arrangements.
  5. A student shall handover his/her belongings** at the designated collection counter before entry into the Examination Hall.
  6. If any of the mentioned belongings are found later during the paper, it will be confiscated, and paper will immediately be cancelled under UMC regulations.
  7. No communication is allowed between the student(s) in the Examination Hall during the exams. If any student(s) is found in such an activity, it may lead to an immediate cancellation of the paper.
  8. In case of query, student should raise hand and wait for the Superintendent.
  9. The student is strictly not allowed to write on Exam Entrance Slip. If any student is found writing anything on Exam Entrance Slip, it will be considered as use of Unfair Means.
  10. The student shall mark attendance on “Attendance Sheet” during the Examinations.
  11. The student shall not leave his/her seat during the Examinations, without getting permission from the Superintendent.
  12. Instructions given on “Exam Entrance Slip” are meant to be followed by all students in true letter and spirit.
  13. A student must leave the Examination Center immediately after finishing his/her paper.
  14. * VU ID Card / CNIC / NICOP / Juvenile Card issued by NADRA / Passport / Domicile / Driving License / Matric or Intermediate Certificate carrying photograph.

    ** Mobile phones/electronic devices/bags/ papers/books/notes or any possession which could be helpful in any form in the Examinations.

Examination Hall Guidelines:
  1. The University shall conduct examinations at centers formally designated for the purpose.
  2. A candidate shall be held responsible for any loss of paper time for not having the documents mentioned in rule (i).
  3. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall.
  4. Rough Sheets will be provided by Exam Superintendent. Candidate shall return the rough sheets to the Exam Superintendent after completion of their respective papers.
  5. A candidate must leave the exam center immediately after finishing his/her paper.
  6. Center Management is not responsible for keeping students’ belongings/valuables. Following items are strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall:
    1. Hand Bags.
    2. Mobile phones or any other communications device.
    3. Data storage and recording devices.
    4. Bluetooth hands free devices.
    5. Any kind of helping material.

Violation of rules shall result in immediate cancellation of the paper.
