Bridging Semester Students:
Students enrolled in the Bridging Semester will be assigned pre-selected courses of 19 CHs. To become eligible for entry into the BS-lateral Mathematics program, students must pass all the courses offered in the Bridging semester i.e. passing the Bridging Semester is mandatory to register in the 5th semester courses.
Direct
5th Semester Entrants:
Students directly
enrolled in the 5th semester (without the Bridging Semester) may select their
courses subject to their scheme of studies and the limitations prescribed in
the rules.
1. General Course Selection Rules (Applicable to All Students):
· A maximum of 18 credit hours per semester are allowed.
· In case any student wishes to enrol for one more course beyond the specified credit hours limit in the last semester, should submit his/her request to the Rector through HOD and Dean. He/she may be allowed by the Rector if student’s CGPA is 3.00 or above out of 4.
· The minimum course load in a semester shall be according to the study scheme, but in special circumstances it can be minimum of 03-credit hours.
Note: The maximum credit hour limit includes any course(s) taken for improvement or repeated due to an 'F' grade.

Note: In case, a student fails to complete the Internship and Capstone Project within the stipulated time due to verifiable recorded reasons, an extension of maximum one semester may be granted by the Dean of the faculty on the recommendation of Head of Department. The permissible maximum duration of the study program shall apply while granting extension.
