Elementary
w.e.f. Batch 2104
- Students enrolled in the first
semester of their study program are given pre-selected courses from
respective study scheme by the system; all other students may select their
own courses subject to their scheme of studies and the limitations
prescribed in the rules below.
- The
credit hour limits are as below:
- A
maximum of 18 credit hours per semester are allowed. However, in special
circumstances university may allow to enroll maximum 21 credit hours.
- In
case any student wishes to enroll for one more course beyond the
specified credit hours limit in the last two semesters, should submit
his/her request to the Rector through Dean. He/she may be allowed by the
Rector provided that student’s CGPA is 3.00 or above out of 4.
- The
minimum course load in a semester shall be according to the study scheme,
but in special circumstance it can be minimum of 03-credit hours.
Note: Maximum limits prescribed for enrollment
of credit hours includes ‘F’ or ‘D’ grade courses, if any enrolled.
- Students taking less than the
course load prescribed by their scheme of studies will require extra
semesters to complete the curriculum; in such cases they will also have to
bear the additional cost.
- During a study program, students
may attempt to improve a "D" grade course only once.
- Students enrolled through “Entry
Route Exemption” will be given a list of courses not exempted from the
first five semesters from respective study scheme. Students can select the
courses subject to the limitations prescribed in the rules below.
- A

6. Rules for Area of Group (Specialization):
1. Students shall select two areas of
groups (specialization) comprising four courses when groups
(specialization) is offered as per the scheme of studies.
2. In order to select an area of
groups (specialization), students must have the following:
i. Achieved a CGPA of 1.75 or higher
ii. Earned 51
or more credit hours.
Rules for Final Year
Project:

- Selected an area of groups
(specialization).
2. The Final Year Project shall be of
06-Credit Hours (based on two modules i.e., EDUA631 and EDUB631 respectively) and will be split in the 7th and
8th semester equally (carrying a workload of 3 credit hours per
semester).
Note: The EDUA631 and
EDUB631 are the two different courses in the Final Year Project which students
must qualify as a part of degree completion requirements. To continue/ select
EDUB631, students must successfully qualify for EDUA631 (Part-A). EDUB631 is a
continuation of EDUA631. Therefore, before enrolling in EDUB631 initial work
needs to be completed in EDUA631 only then students can proceed with EDUB631.
- To
enroll for the Final Year Project student must:
a. A minimum of 2.0 CGPA is achieved.
- A minimum of 102 credit hours are
earned.
4. If a student fails to qualify for the
Final Year Project, the “F” grade will be awarded to the students in the Final
Year Project.
Rules
for Teaching Practice

Students will enroll in Teaching Practice only after
studying the courses of methods of teaching.
In
order to select your courses, follow the steps below:
- From
within the LMS, click the Student Services button.
- Click
on the Course Selection link.
- Give
preference to "F" grade course(s) and the improvement of
"D" grades where possible.
- Click
the check boxes to select courses.
- Save
the selection.
- You
may make changes in course selection any number of times before the last
date to add, drop or replace course(s).
Note:
In case, a student fails to complete the Final Year Project within the
stipulated time due to verifiable recorded reasons, an extension of maximum one
semester may be granted by the Dean of the faculty on the recommendation of
Head of Department. The permissible maximum duration of the study program shall
apply while granting extension.

your LMS account, in case of any confusion).
RECOMMENDATION:
Full Time Regular Students Are Urged To Follow Their Prescribed
Scheme Of Studies.
